Holiday and Weekend Bike Rides |
Available to youngsters who have passed their Bikeability Level 2 course.
| Cycle Training East's are running a series of Bike Rides for youngsters who have obtained their Level 2 Bikeability certificate. The rides are of around four hours including a stop for lunch. Your child may take a packed lunch (in a back-pack) or buy lunch during the stop. A drink must also be carried. Each ride is accompanied by two fully qualified Bikeability instructors and takes place on a specially selected and fully risk assessed route. The youngsters will gain further experience of riding on a public road with professional guidance from our instructors. Each child will need a fully road worthy bike and a helmet. Bikes will be safety checked at the start, but there will not be time to carry out repairs, so please make sure the bike is roadworthy. The cost of each ride is £10.00 and must be paid with booking. Please pay by secure Pay Pay using the 'add to cart' button below, making sure you have entered the date and venue for the ride you have chosen. Please confirm your booking with an email to bikerides@cycletrainingeast.org.uk. We will not accept any booking without payment! We regret we cannot make refunds if you cancel or do not attend! | ||
The Bike Rides are part of a project called 'Overcoming Barriers to Cycling' and are sponsored by the London Cycling Campaign to encourage safe cycling.
