Speed D7

Folding the same as the Vitesse illustrated below, this is Dahon's lowest priced model. It has 7 gears, more than adequate for all normal purposes and the 2008 range is finished in gloss black. The D7 and the Vitesse below have 20 inch wheels. This provides the best compromise between handling and ride quality (indistinguishable from a 26 inch wheeled bike) and a small size when folded.
After folding the bikes wheel along just like a suitcase and are very light to carry, being around 24 pounds in weight.
All Dahons are very high quality bikes, built for long life and reliability.
Vitesse D7

Similar in concept to the D7, the Vitesse has a lighter aluminium frame.
It's available in a very durable gloss grey for 2008
The Glide 2007 Model CTE's special discount price £525.00
The Glide has 24 inch wheels and is designated as a 'touring model'. This one has hub gears for 'no maintenance'. Large tyres and a suspension seat post make for a very smooth ride, that's why they literally 'glide along'. (there is also a 20' wheel version of this bike)
All Models
Dahons are high quality and toughly built. That's why CTE's instructors use them. They can be kept in the boot of your car, or taken on the train in rush hour when other bikes are restricted. There is only one size (in most models) and it caters for everyone from 4'8" to 6'4". They take around 15 seconds to fold and as previously mentioned can be wheeled like a suitcase once folded. Many of our friends and associates ride to the station, take the train to Liverpool Street and ride to work from there. They all report arriving at work feeling fresh and relaxed, having a quicker journey time and avoiding the unpleasant tube trains; saving in some cases several thousands of pounds per year.
All the models shown come with efficient mudguards and rear carriers for putting your luggage or shopping on. With 20" wheels and high quality tyres they roll as well as bikes with full sized wheels. Because they ride so well, Cycle Training East are using them to train complete beginners. Dahon also make racing versions and 16" wheel versions with an even smaller footprint when folded and conventional framed 26" wheeled models that fold.
